Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Bloomfield Educational Foundation to enhance the quality of education and educational opportunities and generate and distribute financial and other resources to and for the students
of the Bloomfield School District for enrichment programs, continuing education, and other projects.

The Foundation will carry out its mission by focusing
its support in the following areas:

»  Facilitate Student Development

Provide funds for learning activities which supplement, complement, and augment the basic educational program.

Provide equipment and facilities not funded through other means.

Encourage excellence through creative learning and teaching

»  Provide venture capital for creative
ideas and programs.

Support professional growth of staff.

»  Promote community/school
partnerships

Promote community awareness of educational challenges and solutions.

Develop enrichment programs to address the needs
of the Bloomfield School District and the community it serves.

Foster the development of alumni relations.

Provide a vehicle through which individuals, businesses and organizations may share resources and gifts with the Bloomfield School District.
