BHS Class of ’65 Scholarship

Give Now & Double Your Impact!

Since its inception in 2016, the mission of the Bloomfield High School Class of 1965 Scholarship Fund has been to support the educational goals of the students at Bloomfield High School.

This year, your donation to the BHS Class of 1965 Scholarship Fund will be matched up to $25,000 by a very generous member of the Class of ’65, Glenn Gerber, and Glenn’s wife, Linda Koval Gerber ’66!

We realize that education is the great equalizer, and that given fair opportunity and access to postsecondary education including college, vocational, and trade schools, the future will be brighter for BHS alumni.  To date, almost $8,000 has been given to 13 deserving high school seniors to help defer their college costs.

The first recipient of the Class of 1965 Scholarship was Jason Drucker, in 2019.  Today, Jason is a Senior Associate Software Engineer for Capital One.   His current project is being part of the programming team of Venture Card, and his Dad reported that he is doing very well with multiple promotions already in his young career.  Yes, Jason’s parents are proud of him and they are also proud of the launchpad Bloomfield High School gave him.  He is working hard to represent Bloomfield well!
