April 2025 Newsletter

April holds April Fools’ Day (today, actually) so beware of the tricksters in your life!  And,  the Passover, Palm and Easter observances, and Holocaust Remembrance Day (April 24).

As to the latter, Mary and I have toured the Museum of Tolerance here in Los Angeles, and the Holocaust Museums in London and Jerusalem.  Each has exhibits that made them most unique and worth seeing.

With no new “finds” or obituaries to report, enclosed is the Roster as we knew it (although we can’t guarantee all are still with us).  And…the list of deceased, that have been reported.  Please print them out…and use the Roster to contact / reminisce with fellow classmates.

Since the last monthly Newsletter, we’ve heard from Armond D’Agostino, Peg Shamberg, Ed Cook, Luci Handson, Marion Jago, Bob O’Rourke, Ginny Van Zile, Bob Delezenski, Kay McCormick and Annie Zimmerman.  At least we know these are still with it / with us!

Our next Zoom is Friday, May 2, and is when the current Student Prints advisor, Diane Mangru, will be our high school update person.  Wally R. will be sending us the link the week of.  And, for those that may need the short-course Zoom 101, we can set that up (for practice).

May April showers bring May flowers…and all through the year.  And, may the only pain in your life be…champaigne!
