For those of us that crave football, college in particular…the season is finally here. Good to have ‘a horse in the race’ as they say…win or lose.
Arlene Cerruto subscribes to the New Jersey App which, from time to time, has some great “do you remembers”! Amongst the latest were squibs on Olympic Amusement Park, and 2 Guys from Harrison (where I purchased Frank Sinatra and Big Band era records). Who recalls the public swimming pool outside Bloomfield we all went to, covering up with Coppertone but turning bright red or purple anyway…and peeling! We may have stopped going with the outbreak of Polio.

And, Peggy Schaumburg has provided a photo with Jack Strenkoski, celebrating their 66th wedding anniversary. Anyone married longer? Mary and I are 61 years, in September!
Are there some who, like Arlene C., who continue to support the Paper Mill Playhouse? They have some great shows lined up. Million Dollar Quartet is special…if the Jerry Lee Lewis part is perfectly cast; we’ve seen it twice. Feet tire of tapping, from beginning to end. Best music EVER.
Last month we’ve heard from Armond D’Agostino, Kay McCormick, Anne Lavery, Ed Cook, Carol Hill, Dave Samuelson, Peg Schaumburg, Luci Hanson, Ann Zimmerman, Bob Alvine, and Wally Riker.
Our next Zoom reunion is Friday, November 6, 3 pm east coast time. Wally Riker will again begin at 2:30 pm for those who may need help logging on. We’ll send out the link on the 5th so hopefully it won’t be lost/forgotten. Some of you have requested telephone reminders.

Hi Class of 1956:
We thought we would provide a photo of our 66th wedding celebration… Jack (Strenkowski) and Peggy (Schaumburg).
We have four children, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grands.
Twenty-four family members, and 40 residents, celebrated the occasion at our clubhouse at Porters Neck Village in Wilmington, NC.
